For over a decade the CHCDC has relied largely on volunteer staff and a firm coalition of local stakeholders to deliver transformative results to the residents of West Baltimore. By intentionally and systematically including neighborhood associations, educational institutions, and other local stakeholders as its constituent members, the Coppin Heights CDC ensures that local residents have a seat at the table in its development projects and that those projects provide long-term, direct benefits.

Hebrew Orphan Asylum
The historic Hebrew Orphan Asylum (HOA) was redeveloped into a hub of healthcare innovation that shifts the paradigm of care in West Baltimore. This Project hosts multiple organizations providing a range of medical and social services to low-income residents across the city.
West North Avenue Revitalization Project
The Coppin Heights CDC has partnered with The Department of Housing and Community Development to bring home ownership along West North Avenue. The West North Avenue Revitalization Project begins with the redevelopment of apartments and a new commercial space at Walbrook Mill followed by new construction of residential row houses in the 2600, 2700 and 2800 blocks of West North Avenue.
Parkway Overlook
Pax-Edwards, LLC (PAX), Osprey Property Company II LLC (Osprey), and Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation (CHCDC) are pleased to present Parkway Overlook, a proposed 180-unit "twinned" housing project located in Baltimore City. Parkway Overlook will offer high quality development which scales down the density from the existing Gwynn Crest Apartment community. The newly developed property will promote connectivity, walkability and use of convenient public transit.
Midtown at Coppin Heights
Pax-Edwards, LLC (PAX), Osprey Property Company II LLC (Osprey), and Coppin Heights Community Development Corporation (CHCDC) are pleased to present Midtown At Coppin Heights , a proposed 199-unit “twinned” housing project located in Baltimore City.
